ASD Career Support Program
Green Skies’s establishment is rooted in providing employment opportunities for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Founder Ms. Kitty Poon discovered that the characteristics of these youths align well with the operational traits of aquaponic system, leading her to design a program that allows them to showcase their talents. Guided by this vision, the “Modern Agriculture Vocational Training Program” was launched, embodying the belief that “everyone should have the opportunity to pursue what they love.”
Our program goes beyond imparting modern agricultural knowledge; it fosters a supportive environment where ASD youths can truly flourish. By engaging them in hands-on roles as system maintenance and event assistants, we unlock their potential, enabling it to blossom when given the right opportunities.
An Ideal Entry-Level Career Option
Modern agriculture is more structured and modular than traditional farming. The predictable and repetitive nature of aquaponics creates an ideal environment for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Green Skies believes that these hands-on experiences can effectively unlock their potential in a meaningful way.

身為門外漢，有時候我覺得自己是和他們一同學習，共同努力發展現代科技農業這個職業。但我相信每一位特殊教育需要的青年都是獨特的，他們都有着自己的才能，只要能夠找對了和他們溝通的方法，這條鎖匙是可以打開他們的心，亦可以理解到他們的需要。所以，與其說我自己是特殊教育需要青年的督導，我更覺得自己是一位同行者，和他們分享，一起學習，幫助他們發揮潛力，走向更好的職涯路。
