1 Please note that our seasonal veggie basket contains an assorted selection of fresh, locally-sourced seasonal vegetables. The specific produce included may vary based on availability, as we are unable to guarantee the inclusion of any particular vegetable. Ai2Farm for Community (Chai Wan) is home to the largest rooftop aquaponics farm in Hong Kong. We are dedicated to promoting sustainable farming practices while fostering a sense of community. Our interactive aquaponics workshops offer a fun and engaging way for people of all walks of life to connect, improve their mental well-being, and raise awareness about inclusion in Hong Kong.
Project Objectives
With our programs, we aim not only to help individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) integrate into society but also to support additional communities in need. Through this project, we hope to:
Find Belonging
By offering emotional support and social interaction, we aim to enhance the overall quality of life for diverse communities.
Promote Wellness
We empower communities to achieve both physical and mental well-being while actively contributing to environmental preservation.
Sustainability
Our aquaponics system utilises recycled materials, fostering a positive, eco-friendly lifestyle for participants.
Inclusion
We continue to provide meaningful employment to SEN youths to reach out and connect with others in need, helping them integrate into society.
Informative sessions held to introduce the project, its benefits, and how communities can get involved.
02
Workshop, Support Group and Aquaponics System Distribution
Interactive workshops will be offered to teach the fundamentals of operating and maintaining the aquaponics system. Each person will receive their own mini system and assemble it according to their living space and preference.
03
Continuous Support and Outreach Visits
Regular outreach visits will be conducted to address any issues, and promote meaningful interaction between mentors, ASD staff and individuals to enhance their sense of participation and continuity.
